Sanaullah Calls for PTI to Drop Illegal Agenda
In a recent statement, Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister's Political Affairs Adviser, has urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to abandon its illegal agenda. He emphasized that the provincial government's letter requesting a briefing on terrorism reveals bad intentions. Sanaullah pointed out that the PTI lacks knowledge of the individuals behind terrorist activities in Pakistan, and their actions, such as writing letters and demanding in-camera briefings, are highly shameful.
The adviser expressed shame towards the PTI's behavior, stating that such talk deserves condemnation. He suggested that if the PTI desires an in-camera briefing, they should attend the Defence Committee meetings, which they consistently avoid. Sanaullah also highlighted ongoing efforts to incorporate public assurances from the 28th Amendment, ensuring facilities for the common man. He assured that amendments will be made to address issues between the federation and provinces after reaching a consensus.
Sanaullah clarified that there are no discussions regarding increasing the voting age or extending the government's term. He predicted low turnout on February 8, dispelling the need for Section 144, and urged the PTI to refrain from their illegal agenda, criticizing their lack of understanding beyond violence. He also accused the PTI of spreading negative propaganda and presenting lies as truth on social media. Sanaullah expressed hope that Maulana Fazlur Rehman will not engage in violent actions on February 8, indicating their awareness of everyone's roles.
