In 2009, they opened Good Time Sushi in a tiny, post-Katrina building, a bold move given the lack of Japanese restaurants in the area. The pandemic, however, forced them to close in 2021, and the subsequent damage from Hurricane Ida led to the decision to rebuild. The new space, which opened on June 8, is a significant upgrade, featuring four large chef's hibachi tables and a dedicated takeout station.
